My story

Torties are known to have feisty purrsonalities, affectionately referred to as “tortitude”. In spite of Monet’s beautiful tortie coloring, we haven’t found an ounce of “tortitude” in this calm, gentle gal!

Monet is a quiet, sweet, pretty little kitty with bunny soft fur that she loves to have petted or brushed! Monet loves to receive full body petting massages – she loves to be pet everywhere, including her tummy! Monet will roll around and stretch into all sorts of positions to ensure you can pet every inch of her. If you slow down the petting action because you think she’s satisfied (or because your hand is tired), Monet will gently head butt you for more petting!! Two of her favorite places to have these petting sessions are in your lap or in a big, comfy bed! Although don’t worry, she’ll accept petting wherever she happens to be at the time! It’s cute – if she is lounging in her bed during a petting session, Monet will happily knead the bed as she’s receiving her petting! We have a strong hunch that Monet would prefer a lap or a bed to snuggle in over playtime activities!
