My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cece is a sweet young dog in search of a home where she can be coddled and pampered. She is quite timid, certainly upon an inital meeting...but it doesn't take her too long to come out of her shell. She is definitely more receptive to women than men. She doesn't cower to men, she just warms up quicker to the women that we have had her around. She is around a year old and was turned into our local shelter by a person who quite possibly was a back yard breeder. We have had her spayed, so no need to worry about the breeding thing anymore. She is current on all of her shots and is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. She is microchipped.
Cece had obviously never been on a leash before she came to Cedar Farm, but she has caught on very quickly and is a joy to take on walks around the yard. She stays close by your feet though, so be careful! She is crate-trained but prefers to be out where the action is, of course. She has done fine with all the other dogs. She had to get to know them too, but here again, that didn't take long and she was sharing toys and water bowls with 3 big dogs in a matter of hours. She is absolutely fine with cats.
