Margaret's Story...
Hi...My name is Margaret. I am listed as a ten year old terrier mix on my paperwork from the pound. I am not so certain that I am that old; but the papers say I am. I act much younger though. I lived at the pound for over a year in an outdoor kennel and a dog house. I was said not to warm up very easily and be a bit grumpy...Well, I have been at Club Pet for a week now and I now live indoors with heat and a huge fluffy comforter. I love my new "pen" but it really isn't a home. I snuggle under my blankies and stay very warm. I am really clean and have never pottied in my pen. I really try my best to be clean. I am a sweetheart really...I have not been grumpy one day here and have loved everyone that I have met. I am however not fond of other female dogs...they compete with my dominance. I do like the boys though. Cats are cool too. I am very quiet and would be a great snuggler for a senior who just wants to hold me and love on me all day long...Please, a year outside in a dog box, I think my patience has been proved...I am waiting still, will someone not come for me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Margaret, a Transfer Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Transfer, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Transfer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Transfer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Transfer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Transfer paves the way for another one to be saved.
