Dusty-Courtesy Post's Story...
***Courtesy Post***Meet Dusty! This handsome Dachshund is in search of a forever home. Around 5 years old, he is a perfect age – past those pesky puppy behaviors, but still young enough play and go on adventures with his family. He gets very attached to his people, toys and treats and will protect them from other dogs. Because of this tendency, Dusty would do best as an only dog or with a laid back canine companion. Dusty is a great little dog with a great big personality. If he could just find a family to love him forever, he will make a wonderful companion for years to come! If you would like to give Dusty his forever home, please contact Jackie at jackiebalogh@gmail.com.. She can fill you in on this sweet boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dusty-Courtesy Post, a North Olmsted Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
