My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tina is an 8 year old American Bulldog mix. We received a call from an owner of a junk yard that had recently purchased the property and didn’t want her to live the rest of her life alone. It was mixed emotions the day we rescued her. This sweet dog covered in grease and years of grime, with weepy eyes from infection and ears so infected they were swollen shut. When we walked her outside her life of dirt and grease she dropped to the ground and rolled in her first patch of grass. We don’t know how many years she lived there, but she trusted us and was so happy to start the beginning of the rest of her life.

The grease is gone and her infections are cleared up. She is housetrained and so grateful to be inside and part of a family. Tina is fostered with cats and dogs and is great with both. She loves to play fetch with a ball, knows sit and when you say “hello” she will offer you her paw to shake your hand. For a dog that didn’t have much for so long she is so sweet and good natured. She hasn’t gotten into anything in her foster home and can be trusted alone in a home when you’re not there.

To help Tina get acclimated to her new home, the adoption fee includes 1 complimentary training session with the rescue’s trainer.
