I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Ash is equal parts sweetness and spunk! She is happiest getting head rubs, while she purrs away, but will also chase her toys at a moment’s notice! She is proof there are indeed “Fifty Shades of Black” – she’s actually the color of an espresso bean…or the darkest of chocolate, with yummy dark fur! The distinct look of her fur and shape of her head (apple shaped), lead us to believe Ash is part Havana Brown – a cross between a black cat and a Siamese. Although young, she is very verbal – very much a Siamese trait! She likes to talk about toys, food, and her blankie… but most of all she likes to talk about how much she wants attention. Ash is a bit reserved at first when in new situations, but will reach out to her human, and craves affection. Her favorite toy is a catnip mouse which she likes to throw in the air!
Ash was rescued from a rural high-kill shelter, and stood little chance of adoption due to low adoption rates. Some nice volunteers drove her 6 hours to Northern Va so she could enter 4Paws’ adoption program. Ash has made a new friend in Luther…also rescued from a rural high kill shelter. They have become best friends and need to be adopted together.
Ash has been spayed, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia and is up to date on her vaccines. We are estimating her birth date as November 2013.
