My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar is a 6 year old Mustang or stock breed mix mare and stands at about 14hh. She was seized along with many other animals from someone who was not supposed to own animals. Sugar is sweet but timid. She will require an experienced, patient and gentle handler who will be able to teach her new things without being too rough or overwhelming. Sugar has been worked with on loading and can now reliably be loaded into a trailer. She is learning how to tie and will stand quietly for a patient vet and farrier. Offering her back feet is still a little frightening for her but she is progressing every day, and she will gladly lift her front feet. Once Sugar learns that you aren't going to hurt her, she greatly enjoys being groomed. It is unlikely that Sugar has had any training so she is a nice, clean slate for you to take her in any direction you wish. She has beautiful and correct conformation and long legs. With quality, consistent training, she could be a sturdy trail horse, a flashy dressage pony or a reliable hunter/jumper mount.
