Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ARWIN, approximately 1 year old, 36 lbs, heart worm negative, released to the shelter because she killed a chicken in her former home, she is gentle with people, loves bones, is sweet and loves attention, Arwin is sad in the noisy shelter environment as she doesn't understand why she is tee, she can be skittish of people at first but slowly relaxes, she wags her tail in happy mode and truly wants to trust, loves being scratched behind her ears and will come ever so close so you can get just that right spot, she is a lovely girl and will bond quickly with her new owner once she is out of the shelter, she is uninterested in playing or toys at this time and content to lie down near her person, Arwin is learning about the concept of a leash but she is a quick learner so it shouldn't take her too long, she does know the sit command and is hoping for a new forever home free of chickens. ARWIN is up to date on all shots as are all of the animals at Tehama County Animal Care Center. As we get more information on ARWIN’s personality and lARWINs we will be happy to share.
