Mya's Story...
Healthy, cute, and sweet, Forde is just the perfect cat! He loves everyone and would fit into most households with ease.

This playful little guy was adopted from us as a kitten but returned because his human's granson came to live with her and had to go to the hospital after a severe asthma attack.

Wouldn't you like to meet such a perfect cat? He really misses living in a real home, sleeping in bed, and having his very own humans.

Forde's adoption fee of $125 covers neuter, test for felv/fiv, vaccinations, microchip, treatment for fleas/parasites, and a complimentary vet exam at Creve Coeur Animal Hospital.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mya, a St. Louis Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
