Oscar's Story...
Oscar is one regal, big, gorgeous, friendly boy! He loves, loves, loves people and is very social and affectionate. In addition to people, Oscar also loves to eat! And he makes it known. Oscar has had many doggie friends and he thinks he is a dog. He could probably be trained to go for walks on a harness. Oscar is not sure what to make out of kitties, he is a little afraid of his energetic feline housemate but a calm kitty would be OK. Oscar is around 6-7 years old and his family abandoned him in a high-kill shelter when they moved. Oscar is a Maine Coon mix, and weighs around 14lbs. Oscar is looking for a family that will snuggle with him and love him forever. Oscar is declawed, neutered and up-to date on his shots.

Please email us at if you are interested in adopting this gorgeous boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Baltimore Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
