Johnny's Story...
Hi my name is Johnny. I am a sweet, meek and mild mannered fellow. I was found abandoned so I don't talk about my past but the folks here say that is okay and I can focus on the fun and love in my future. I am more of an introvert so I take a lot longer to get used to new people and places but I have a gentle soul and love when you take the time to say hello. I am a fan of little spots I can tuck myself into for napping and to feel safe as I watch the world go by. I also think I would love perching in sunny windows for bird watching and learn to adore lazy afternoons hanging with my new family. I enjoy the company of other cats and would love a more outgoing and social cat whose lead I could follow in my new home. I am a sensitive sort and with my shyer nature I asked the folks here to help me find an adult home. I am looking forward to making your acquaintance today so please stop in and say hello.
Before making the trip to visit the shelter we strongly recommend checking our website for information on adoption policies and procedures. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Johnny, a Gloucester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gloucester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gloucester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gloucester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gloucester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gloucester paves the way for another one to be saved.
