Hello, hello all! Jake here, ready and waiting for you! I’m a big, dark and handsome guy they call a flat coated retriever. I am about 8- 9 years old and weigh 73 pounds. Maybe I’m just what you were looking for! Last year, I was taken in by a really sweet lady after my original owner had to move to assisted living. She already had two dogs and two cats, so she wants me to find a forever home and I think I’d like that. I’m an easy-going fellow—housetrained and easy to walk on a leash, so I’m adaptable to whatever is going on at your house. If you’ve got grade school age kids or another critter or two, I’m sure we would get along fine. It all works for me. I’m happy and healthy and I just love to go for rides in a car.
