Dexter is an energetic and loving seven-month-old male puppy that appears to be a Chihuahua/Miniature Pincher mix. Dexter loves to play and roam around outside, but also likes to spend time and sleep indoors. He is potty and crate trained however potty reinforcement is needed in any new environment. The last time he got weighed he was about 10 pounds, but I believe he has gained a little weight since then.

Dexter gets along with cats and he might get along with other dogs. He has not been around other dogs so I cannot say for sure. I have a 1 ½ year old daughter and he does get along with her, so he is great with kids. Dexter loves to play with all his toys and loves to have a couple of rawhide chews lying around so he can chew them when he pleases. He does need a little leash work, if you are committed to taking him on walks he will catch on in no time. Dexter does know how to sit, give paw, and I have been working on stay with him. He will always greet you with a smile when you come home from a long day at work or school.
