Norville's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Norville's Story...
Our boy Norville made his way to the Coronado Animal Care Facility as a stray.

This handsome fellow has lots of energy with a sparkling personality. He loves the water and swimming in the kiddie pool at the facility, so a family with older kids to be his water playmates in a pool of their own would make Norville extremely happy.

He also loves to play fetch, and when the game is over he is content to snuggle and give lots of kisses.

This playful pup will fill your summer days with lots of fun, so come meet Norville to see for yourself what a loving and amusing guy he is. You will just be crazy about him!

You can meet Norville any day at the Coronado Animal Care Facility between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in adopting Norville, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor. You may fill out the online dog adoption application.

If you have any questions, please contact the Dog Adoption Team.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norville, a Coronado Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
