Facts about Austin

  • Breed: German Shepherd Dog Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Austin is a stunning German Shepard Mix. He is house trained and fully vetted. He is good with kids, other dogs, and cats. He was rescued from an abandoned house along with his siblings. He is extremely shy and would do best in a home with other dogs. He has been with a professional trainer and knows commands and does very well on the leash for a young age. He needs to be with a family who understands and embraces his shyness and can continue to work with him. His adoption fee will cover all his vetting including neuter as well as microchip

He is around 4 years old (November, 2015)

All dogs coming from Peach County Animal Rescue are spayed/neutered and vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. Each dog is also heartworm tested and treated monthly with heartworm prevention. Our adoption fees range from $175-350+. On average, our fees are $250. Fees are higher for dogs that came to us with additional things like professional training (i.e. service dog, working dog). We look forward to hearing from you!

About Peach County Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Peach County Animal Rescue (Fort Valley, GA) is a rescue group created to help lower the overpopulation of canines in our area. We also pull dogs from the local shelters. We have saved and re-homed thousands of dogs since October, 2009 (est.). Peach County does not have animal control, therefore the overpopulation of neglected animals is on a rise.
