My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello New Friends,
My name is Molly and, according to my foster Mom (‘cause I’m not one to brag), I’m a beautiful, sweet and loving little bichon. I’m about three years old, weigh 11 pounds, am very mellow and gentle. Mom says I’m also a little on the shy side initially —however I’m starting to becoming more confident each and every day.
Dad says I really enjoy being with my special people (currently it’s my foster family) and with other small dogs, especially ones that look like me! My doggy foster brothers think I’m a great addition to the family. We play tug-of-war and chase. And that makes me feel happy inside.
Mom says I have the cutest way of standing on my hind legs to get attention. Oh, and then there’s the way I sit in her lap, stare straight into her eyes and kiss her on the nose. Mom says that is one of the sweetest ‘gifts’ she has ever received. (That’s because she is the best thing that ever happened to me!)
Although I can be shy at first, once I am comfortable with people I am very loving and friendly. I’m also a great listener and a master observer. You see, before I became a FurKid I had been left outside to fend for myself, with little human contact. In my foster home, with Mom, Dad and my doggy foster brothers to guide me, I’ve started to become the happy and secure little bichon I was born to be. Despite having been abandoned, I’ve learned to trust! I’ve learned the joys of belly rubs and walks — and am happy to be with “my people”, wherever they are and whatever they are doing
I’m also housebroken, crate trained, incredibly smart and learning about all the things that little bichons need to know. To continue my ‘education’ I’m looking for a loving companion who likes to go for walks, rides in the car and, of course, to snuggle. (My family says I get an A++++ in snuggling!)
I would do best in a relaxed home environment with another FurKid! I do need someone who will be gentle and consistent with me — and help me to blossom into the bichon I was born to be.
If that sounds like you please complete our application and I’ll be happy to meet and greet you.
Tail wags and cuddles,
Mellow and Magnetic Molly
