Josie's Story...
Hello World,
My name is Josie and I'm a darling and mellow and very feminine little bichon of five. My foster Mom says I am 10 pounds of love with lots of cuddles thrown in. She says I’m a little girl who is joyful, happy and as sweet as can be (Can you tell she likes me?).
I’m a natural when it comes to meeting and greeting people. They see my cute little personality and just want to pet and love me. (Of course I let them since I’m such a good little girl!)
I love to go on walks and rides in the car. Dad calls me ‘the observer’ as I like to check on things as we drive. My doggy foster brothers and sister think I’m very sweet. They are more rambunctious than I am. I’d rather snuggle and cuddle than chase a toy – but that’s because I’m a feminine little girl!
Dad says I’m really smart and want to please. I’m housebroken (I figured out the doggy door in seconds) come when I’m called and have mastered ‘sit’ already. I love all people and practically everything and everyone except zebras… (Dad says I don't like zebras!)
I’m a very good girl who is smart, loveable, devoted, has great manners and is a joy to have around. I really just love life and being with people!
Mom knows that there is a special family or couple just looking for a sweet little girl like me. She and I hope you will complete an application so we can meet. I'd love to be yours.
Please ask for Josie-- and I will be waiting.
Tail Wags and Doggie Kisses
Joyful and Gentle Josie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a La Costa Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
