Meet Miss Miley Smiley Sunshine (or just Miley for short!), a six-year-young Himalayan mix, who is very gentle and sweet.
Miley’s favorite activity is to be petted and showered with soft strokes while she chirps like the happy little bird. She’ll push herself against your hand to make sure she’s getting as much out of that pet as possible and if you move your hand away, she’ll follow it for a little more lovin! Head butts are Miley’s way of saying “I love you and wanna be close to you” and sometimes she’ll even head butt table legs or laptops just to remind you of how much she prefers your touch. It’s very cute to watch her in action because it almost looks as if she’s petting herself! She is an enthusiastic love seeker in this way and will reciprocate in kind.
A big fan of laser pointers and toys with feathers and bells (who isn’t?), Miley will launch into "hunting mode" when you play with her. This is great fun for Miss Miley Smiley because it’s her chance to live out her wildest dreams of being queen of the jungle! Her loud roar actually comes through as a sweet soprano meow, but don’t tell her that because she’s pretty sure she’s a lion inside.
Miley is a beautiful girl with blue eyes and a long white coat and is even prettier on the inside with her tender, loving ways. Miley will be happiest in a calm home with attentive cat lovers. She tends to be a bit timid around strangers and other animals but will quickly warm up to her favorite person.

This cat is a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cat.
All Jake’s Place cats available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.
The Adoption Fee for Miley is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia Testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs.
Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
