My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Torti cats bring good luck according to Irish lore; whoever adopts our richly-colored 3-year-old “Rose” will be fortunate indeed. At 9 lbs. and full grown Rose will be forever small -- a sweet, quiet and independent little lady -- neat as a pin with her box, and the very opposite of needy in terms of personality. Rose is perfect for gracing a quiet home (one with older kids or none at all); she’ll live happily inside/outside, or sharing your apartment would be fun too. Rose enjoys her own space and demands little else, she simply wants to keep you company; with some nice snuggles, of course. (She ignore other cats, her focus is you.) See how easy it is to feel lucky every day, with a steadfast little girl named Rose by your side.

Rose is currently available at PetSmart in Greenwood, SC. PetSmart is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Our Adoption Center is open Monday through Saturday 10a to 5p. All animals will be spayed/neutered at time of adoption. Contact the Adoption Center at the Greenwood County Animal Shelter at (864) 942-8775 or send us an email at adoption@gwdhumanesociety.org.
