Karli's Story...
This cute little girl came from a shelter that would have put her down because of her breed. Luckly, some very nice shelter staff saw her beauty, and saved her. Her name is Hawaiian for Precious treasure, as she is the sweetest of the 4 puppies in her litter. She lost 2 brothers from parvo, but this was over a month ago. She is a happy, healthy, puppy who is seeking her forever home. She is spayed, and up to date on all shots. She is not potty trained, as she is only about 12 weeks old. Because of her breed, we will require a home visit, vet check, dog expierience, and a fenced yard. A home that is willing to do training classes will also take preference, as socialization, and training is a big part of raising a puppy, THE RIGHT WAY

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Karli, a Battleground Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Battleground, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Battleground.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battleground already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battleground breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battleground paves the way for another one to be saved.
