found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
LOVES children and teens and is great with people of all ages, LOVES other dogs, house-trained, easy to walk on a leash. Zoe was tethered for 3 yrs of her life and is ecstatic to be living indoors and free to move and play and cuddle with her dog-mates and masters as she pleases, loves company and hugging people. Mostly calm but does get playful each day. A truly happy spirited pup.
Currently tests positive for heartworms. Zoe has already started treatment and will be available for within the next few weeks. She will need ongoing treatment and veterinary follow ups until she tests negative. You may choose to use her current vet for treatment or your own vet. As there are several different treatments for heartworms, we encourage you to ask your vet what he/she prefers.
Are you interested in adopting Zoe or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Zoe.
Thanks for thinking adoption!
