Looking for a kid friendly / dog friendly dog to add to your family? Well we most definitely have the dog for you -- DUSTY! When Dusty was picked up by Animal Control, he was sort of that area's "neighborhood dog". There were lots of adoring kids and other dogs in that area and Dusty was a favorite among all of them. Unfortunately the families in the area already had dogs of their own so that when Dusty showed up as a stray no one was able to officially take him in --- but several from the neighborhood are continuing to check on his status at the shelter ---- and have even offered to help his new family with his adoption fee from the City of Jackson Animal Shelter This sweet guys is a real charmer and is smart as a whip. An absolute favorite among the volunteers and his fellow adoption dogs. Since he is still at the city / municipal shelter we do not have the details of his health -- but he appears healthy and the perpetual smile on his face makes us think that he is happy too. Transportation can be easily arranged for Dusty to make the trip to New England from Jackson, MS.
