Pooh's owner recently died suddenly leaving her very scared and without a home. We were told by the family members that she was feral and could not be touched. We knew her situation was desperate and she was facing being put out on the street to live on her own so we took her in. Boy were they wrong about her personality. This girl LOVES affection! In fact, in her foster home she competes a little with the other cats for affection from the foster mom. For that reason we feel she would be fine in a home as an only cat…more loving just for her.
She is still shy at first but for a person who understands cats then this makes sense. Once she feels safe though Pooh is all about attention, affection and playtime.
