Facts about SHAUN

  • Breed: Schipperke Mix
  • Color: Brindle
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Loyal SHAUN is a brindle-colored Schipperkee mix with wavy ears, who makes a great watch dog. He’s a cuddler who loves to sit—and sleep—on laps of those he loves. His one obsession is playing fetch, which he’ll do endlessly. He does live well with other dogs who are calm. He’s come a long way in overcoming his tragic past—being kicked by his owner’s boyfriend who then chose the abuser over little Shaun after animal control removed him from the home. After his rescue from the shelter, several foster families have helped him overcome his fear. His lower energy (except when he plays fetch) makes him a perfect companion for an older person or couple who wouldn’t mind a frequent companion lap warmer. SHAUN is probably between 8 and 10, and weighs 13 pounds.

We require an application, home check, contract, and adoption donation. SHAUN 's adoption donation is $250.00
