Honeysuckle's Story...
Honeysuckle is a cute little yellow lab mix with short legs! She's our mini-lab :) Honeysuckle is about a year old and only weighs 24 lbs! She wont grow any larger. This littler girl was in the town shelter with very limited time after being found as a stray. She was pulled and put into an inmate/pooch matchup program to keep her safe while we work to find her forever home. Honeysuckle is a sweet and happy girl and she loves to play with toys. Honey loves other pets and is wonderful with people. Please...if you think you have the forever home for this sweety please apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honeysuckle, a Staunton Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
