My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our big boy, Eli! He is a 75(ish) pound, 4.5 year old, American Bulldog/ Staffie mix that we pulled from the New Britian, CT shelter. Our best guess is that Eli is about 2 years old. Eli was found running around as a stray in a park in the city, very malnourished and dirty. Once he got to the shelter we realized just how special this guy is.

This big fella is a total gentlemen. He knows all his basic commands, loves to be around people, and loves himself a good head scratch. He also is a great tug of war partner, and is pretty fantastic at fetch too. He is as sweet as they come...taking treats gently, offering you his paw, and he is not short on kisses either.

A good friend of the rescue and local trainer has met and evaluated Eli, and she feels he is just as amazing as we do! Eli has been good with all the dogs of all sizes he has met so far. He was a shelter favorite and is already settling in wonderfully with his new foster family.
