It's hard to imagine that this truly beautiful (inside & out) Poodle was about to be euthanized in a western Colorado shelter. A compassionate Denver group arranged for Sammy's rescue and transport to Boulder. ...and now he's ready for his forever home! Farfel's Rescue agreed that Sammy deserves only the best after what his life has been and agreed to participate in his rehoming.
This is the description of Sammy by his foster mom: Sammy is 3.5 - 4 yrs. young. He has a typical sweet and friendly poodle personality and is an all-time lovebug. Whether it's snuggling on the couch or playing in the yard, Sammy is SO sweet and engaging. His tail never stops wagging and his joy with life knows no bounds. Sammy gets along with every size dog and is very playful. I wouldn't suggest him with a fearful or fragile dog as he loves to run and roll in play and fun...all very positive. Sammy loves leash walks and he's very positive and kind when out and about. Sammy has come such a long way in his house training - what a champ! His forever family would just initially need to continue frequent outside trips and Sammy should be just about perfect. Sammy absolutely loves all people and would be a perfect addition to any family. They would absolutely be getting a gem!
Sammy's gorgeous cotton-like hair (considered to be the most hypoallergenic of all breeds) would require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his coat silky and matt-free. We're very excited to participate in finding this special guy his forever family.
