Ana's Story...
Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption. You can contact her foster mom, Jessica by emailing jessica.kyle@rocketmail.com for more information on how she can become part of your family.

Ana needs a new home.

Ana is a spunky little Minpin/Chihuahua mix. At only a year or two old, she loves to play and is very energetic. She wants nothing more then to cuddle under the covers with her forever human. She gets along with kids, cats, and other dogs. She would make the perfect lap dog and will be ready after her puppies are adopted and she is spayed.

Please help us find Ana her forever home!

Don't forget to complete an adoption application. Go to http://shelteredpaws.com/docs/Adoption_App_Form_2010.doc to download an Adoption Form Questionnaire. Upon completion, email the application back to spdr.app@shelteredpaws.com .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ana, a Cincinnati Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
