Gander was on his last day at an overcrowded dog pound..Dogworks Inc took him into rescue to save him from being put to sleep. Nice boy! - approx 2 yrs old. Mostly Labrador Retriever mixed with ?? we aren't sure since we see mostly Lab. All black coat with red highlights.. He came in a bit skinny. Started on dog food, weight should increase.

Nice disposition, Gander is a bit leery and unsure of new people and some dogs....he will lay on floor when scared. Although initially timid, warms quickly and so loves to be touched. Shows no fear aggression and is very anxious to please. Will make a great pet. Building his confidence should come easily. Needs some work on manners and commands. Picking up on housebreaking. Needs minor work on leash walking. We are still learning about Gander. Adoption fee includes: exam, neuter, vaccine update, heartworm check and G.I. de worming. Adoption fee $160.
