My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lab Rescue is currently offer an adopt one get one free special on bonded pairs! You get twice the love for just one adoption fee if you adopt Winston & Benny!

BENNY is a 5 yr old black neutered male who weighs 84 pounds. He came to us with his buddy, Winston. Winston & Benny are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. They came from the country so not suitable to live in an apartment or busy neighborhood. They love to get attention and to be petted. If you sit down they will get on either side of you and lean into you to make sure they get petted. Not sure who the leader and who is the follower as they seem to take turns. Benny retrieves more than Winston does. Wasn’t sure if they were really bonded but when Benny went to have the growth on his leg biopsied Winston started moping and did not eat with his usual gusto. They have pretty good manners and know sit, come, down. They are approved for kids aged 10 and up.

Update (5/28): Winston and Benny want to know why no one has come to see them. They are both doing well at the kennel but would love to lounge around someone’s family room and play in their yard. They told me they would love to be able to go swimming and play in a pond, river or the ocean.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has around 50 dogs available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
