Buttercup & Brownie were strays outside a local church where a bunch of cats have taken up residence. The gift shop lady was trying to take care of them by feeding them when she could. A past adopter heard about them and alerted us and Buttercup & Brownie are now part of OSCAR. They have been to the vet and are now old enough for adoption.

Cat/Kitten Adoption process:
1. Fill out application
2. Adoption contract & Adoption fee
**If you do not have a current vet reference home visit is required
Adoption Fee:
$80 for a cat/kitten
*Adoption fees cover age appropriate vetting
** For the kittens that have not been fixed (due to being too young) we charge an additional $50 deposit with the condition that when they are fixed $50 is refunded.
One Step Closer Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the extent allowed by law. If you would like to make a donation to help us rescue more animals please send donations to PO Box 248, Sparta, NJ 07871. Please make your check payable to O.S.C.A.R..
