Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wyatt - 1.5 year old purebred male Miniature Schnauzer. He was rescued from an LA county shelter after he had been picked up as a stray after being hit by a car. He had 30-40 staples for a abdomen injury, a broken hock and several broken toes.. but he was quite lucky to make it out alive. We rescued him after his hold period was up at the shelter and had our vet do surgery to repair his broken leg. Our vet thinks he will make a full recovery and we anticipate he will be ready for a new home by the end of July. We named him Wyatt because it means "strong warrior"... and indeed this little boy is a survivor. He is also sweet as can be and great with other dogs. Wyatt is a beautiful black and silver Miniature Schnauzer, he weighs approximately 15 pounds.
Update 8/9/2014: Unfortunately Wyatt's leg did has not healed properly, he requires a second surgery to implant a plate. His surgery is scheduled for 8/20/2014.. we expect he wont' be available now until mid September.
