Buddy has a lot of spunk which belies his senior status. He is healthy and can easily jump on and off a two-foot platform deck. Buddy is eager to please, smiling and wagging his tail whenever you look at him or say his name. He is always at your side, although he is not clingy, and he loves being talked to. Buddy is very obedient and knows basic commands such as Sit, Stay, and Lie Down.
Buddy likes to play fetch with a tennis ball and will toss it up in the air and pounce on it just like a puppy. He also brings the ball back for you to throw again. He is easy to walk and doesn't pull on the leash.
Buddy's foster mom just loves him, and she hasn't seen any undesirable behavior. He is completely housetrained and gets along perfectly with the resident dog and two cats. His former owner stated that Buddy likes children, although this has not been tested in his foster home.
Buddy's overall disposition is sweet and calm. He is a very easy dog to have around. Is yours the perfect retirement home for Buddy? He is eager to give you all his love and make you smile every day!
He qualifies for our Senior for a Senior program so ask about it.
