Manny's Story...
MANNY is a two year old salt and pepper miniature Schnauzer. He weighs 18 pounds. He was surrendered to SRC by his family because he was too high energy for the household – that included a 7 year old lab sister and 12 year cat. That is the nature of a Schnauzer isn’t it???

MANNY is a very sweet young man. He listens very well and wants to sleep close to his people. He is a lap dog for sure! He isn’t much of a barker – until he needs to be. He is used to a crate and will stay in one for short periods of time. He walks well on a leash. He is still working on complete potty training – and is doing well.

He tries to play bad cop – good cop with the other dogs in his foster home (they don’t let him); so for that reason he should probably be in a home with another dog close to his size and age! He lives with 3 rescue cats now and doesn’t bother them a bit! Kids in the home should be over 8 years old. He must have a fence yard.

Manny is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He is HW negative and on monthly preventative. If you are thinking of adding a pet to your family please submit an adoption application with Manny’s name on it and someone from SRC will contact you. He is being fostered by Nina in Indianapolis, IN. His adoption fee is $275

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Manny, a Sharonville Miniature Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Sharonville, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Sharonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sharonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sharonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sharonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
