Slyvester's Story...
Welcome to the sounds of kitty! My name is Sylvester and I am so very happy you are interested in meeting me! I am a 5 month old, brown tabby and white, neutered male with Long Hair. I was brought to the shelter by a police officer who found me, but we couldn't find my people. Sadly, my owner never came looking for me. So here I am, ready to find a new family to call my own. I really enjoy cuddling and playing. I don't mind a brushing, but I would rather you scritch my ears. I know I'm just a little guy and usually us kids are really high energy but I promise I am a laid back, Kind boy. I would rather kick back and hang out in the window or on your lap for the whole day. Don't get me wrong, I like to chase a toy. Given the chance, I think I would really like to chase those red dots that sometimes come around. When you have a little time come on down and hang out with me. If you are looking for a sweet and loving feline friend to take home we might just end up together furrever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slyvester, a Murphysboro Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Murphysboro, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Murphysboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Murphysboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Murphysboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Murphysboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
