I am already spayed, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.
I have tested positive for FIV. FIV is a virus that depletes the number of white blood cells, which eventually makes me less able to fight off infection. FIV cannot be passed from cat to person, but there is a slim chance that I could infect another cat.
FIV is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds and not easily passed otherwise. Just as a precaution, please keep me away from other cats so my immune system doesn’t need to fight off infections. If you are interested in adopting me, or would like more information about FIV, please ask one of my staff friends.
Thanks for understanding!
