My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our wonderful Remy is our blossoming flower...he wants to love more than anything and is learning that the world can be a loving and positive place. Remy had a very challenging experience at a high-kill Kansas shelter...being saved at the very last second is a very scary proposition! His great temperament was his ticket out to a new life in Colorado. This fun-loving Yorkie (this is what the shelter and vets identified Remy as...he may have just a bit of something else in there) will make a lucky family a beloved companion. He just needs to know for sure that you love him just as much as he loves you. When he's truly certain... there is no sweeter or kinder snuggler in the world. At about 6-8 months old and approximately 10 lbs (we'll get a more exact weight in the near future), Remy is the epitome of gentle and loyal when he bonds. He will quietly ask for a soft belly rub or just cuddle up to express how devoted he is. Once there is trust, Remy is a wonderful and loyal companion who knows no enemies. We feel the perfect home for our kind guy would be with gentle retirees who are seeking a very portable best friend to spend lots of time with. Remy's photo is at the shelter...sad and filthy. With love and great nutrition, Remy's gorgeous golden, non-shedding coat couldn't possibly be be more striking...he will require periodic grooming to keep his hair silky and matt-free. Remy can live very happily with other dogs like himself....they must have a gentle demeanor and not expect him to play in a rambunctious way. He'd be happy to have a bonded and loving relationship with pretty much anyone...human or canine. It's all about loving deeply and spending time together for our sensitive Remy. He would be so perfect for long walks along gorgeous Colorado paths or at your side as your very best friend.

Remy will be arriving on transport in Denver in 5/30. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional and very sweet companion.
