Goldie is an amazingly sweet 2 year old Yellow Lab girl who weighs about 55 pounds and is the most loyal and lovable dog you will ever meet. Somehow she found herself in a very high kill shelter in KY where they have one week to either be adopted or taken by a rescue. This girl seemed too perfect to have die at the shelter and Critter Cavalry found a wonderful foster home for her. Goldie is an A+ in every category. House training is going great with no accidents and of course she does get lots of quality time outdoors and that helps. She’s not a jumper! She doesn't jump on you or the furniture, she prefers to curl up next to your feet. Goldie is good with other dogs, she lives with two high energy dogs at her foster home and is friendly and playful with them. When she doesn't want to play, she will let the others know. She is happiest by her person’s side. Goldie is good with cats too or at least the small kitten in the foster home! She never meets a stranger, and is happy with soaking up all the attention she can get. She we will patiently sit and wait for a head rub or a scratch behind the ears. Goldie loves her walks; she gets to see kids and other dogs at the park. Did we mention she’s great on the leash? She loves kids and does wonderful with them. She is very gentle and will let them love on her too – she doesn't play favorites! Goldie is a wonderful dog and we are so happy to give her a second chance at a good life! She is so grateful for every little thing and she lets you know all the time with small kisses or just snuggles. Let Goldie into your life and you will not be disappointed! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
