Are you looking for a great companion dog? Well look no further. This handsome boy loves people of all ages! Splash is a gentle dog who gets along with all dogs but does prefer to be with playful but well behaved dogs. We don't know how he would be with cats. He is about 3 yrs old and weighs between 65-70 lbs. He kind of looks like a mix of English Springer Spaniel with the personality of a Labrador Retriever. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, micro chipped and on monthly heart worm and flea preventative. He loves water and did we mention he LOVES to be with people! He would do good with another low keyed dog or even as an only dog . If in an only dog home, it needs to be one where his owner has the time and desire to devote to him. If in a working household where his family is gone most of the day, he would prefer to be outside in the fresh air opposed to being locked up inside in a crate all day. Of course he would need a secure fence around the yard for his safety. He needs some leash training and basic command training but with a little work and patience, Splash has the makings of becoming a great loyal companion. If you are drawn to this big guy, please email ARNT at firstname.lastname@example.org for a pre-adoption questionnaire which is the first step in the adoption process. Because a home visit is required in order to check out the fence around the property, he is only available for adoption in the immediate DFW area. His adoption fee is $150.
