Zeus is about 8 years young. Don’t let his age fool you, he’s playful and full of energy. He is fully housetrained and knows several commands, such as sit, stay, speak, shake, off, lay down, back, and out. He loves to play tug of war, to chase and retrieve balls and more, and would do really well in a family with older children to help him expend that energy!
Zeus can get very excited when someone first enters the home, and will sometime jump up on them, but he calms down after a few minutes. Because he’s a bit excitable, and is a big, strong boy, he can be a bit overwhelming to little children or toddlers! But make no mistake, this guy is a loving, gentle hearted family dog – who wants nothing more than to make “his people” happy!
If you feel your home is ready for a fun, loving dog, Zeus just might be the perfect fit. Please visit www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt to complete an adoption application. Zeus is waiting eagerly to meet you!
“Zeus is participating in the DFWRM Guest Dog Program, so his ongoing care and custody are provided by his foster, not by DFWRM.”
