Wilbur's Story...
Wilbur #1400 is a 2-year-old male, Pug mix. He is very docile and sweet and loves being held. This 12-pound boy is kennel and leash trained. He is great with other dogs. His favorite pastimes are sleeping and being outdoors. We believe you can always teach an “old” dog new tricks and we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup, it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: and return it per instructions. Email with questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilbur, a Waldorf Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
