Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! Our names are Dooney (peach head) and Bourke (orange head) and, like the purse, we are quite a catch! We are a pair of lovebirds who are bonded and must be adopted together. We are shy because we haven't known how to be birds, but our foster mommy is teaching us! We love getting misted, love toys (parts of our heads are green from one of our toys when we were wet) are good with tiny fruity pellets mixed in with seed as we get weaned off of seed, and are quickly learning to trust our foster mommy (she's not as scary as we thought). We also love chattering with other birds (we can hear them but not see them) but don't do it all the time. We are OK with the dog but he's kind of weird with four legs and all. Like a good purse and wallet, we come together, but we will love you as much as we love each other. Please come meet us and find out if we can become part of your family for good!

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
Parakeets, Cockatiels, Lovebirds: Fee’s for these birds are optional, but please consider donating any amount you can afford – your donations allow us to help more animals in need!
