My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DaVinci is one of Colorado’s sweetheart dachshunds available for adoption. He is a 2 year old miniature smooth coat black and tan dachshund that weighs about 9 pounds. DaVinci is a very nice dachshund with a great attitude, even after being in a shelter for many weeks. He has a great disposition; he is energetic, loves to play and thoroughly loves human attention. An added bonus is that he is a minimalist when it comes to barking and if he does bark when inappropriate he responds quickly to verbal correction. DaVinci is crate trained and oh so close to being fully house trained. His house training has been really easy since he does not mark. He gets along well with most dogs. He has not been cat tested. DaVinci’s ideal COLORADO adult home will have a fenced yard and another small dog to play with or a human who is home more than gone and who will take him on daily walks plus other fun trips.
