Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the marvelous Meadow! Meadow is a golden/collie mix that is only about 7 months old, and would love a wonderful home of her own. She came to us from our Newark facility when she was picked up as a stray, and it's hard to believe that someone let this precious puppy go. Meadow is probably very thankful that she was picked up when she was, since she was suffering with a bad case of pneumonia, but our medical team has treated this little lady and she is now healthy, happy, and ready for a home. It seems that Meadow may have had a tough time of it in her young life. She is a bit unsure of strangers and it's takes her a few minutes to warm up to you. Sudden movements toward her head startle and frighten her, but we are confident that since she is beginning to realize that she is amongst friends, that she will get over her little fears fairly quickly. Meadow will need a home with no children under the age of 10. She has had training and will sit so nicely when asked, and she walks very well on a leash. Once Meadow considers you a friend, she just couldn't be anymore loving. She loves to cuddle up in your lap and get lots of love and attention. She is curious about toys but doesn't know quite what to do with them yet. She is so happy just to be spending time with someone that is kind to her, and her tail never stops wagging when she's by your side. This little lady is so deserving of a fresh start in life with a family that will cherish her, and never let her go again. File#23484 5/1/14
