Snickers's Info...

Snickers's Story...
Meet Snickers. He is a six year old netuered Chihuahua mix. He is up to date on all shots and micro-chipped.

Snickers is a shy little guy who takes a little bit of time to settle into a new environment. At the shelter, potential adopters did not know that he was in his pen because he was hiding under his bed in fear. Snickers entered foster care to allow for some time for him to be rehabilitated. Since that time, he has made great improvements! He is a dog that prefers to let humans know when he feels like being picked up or snuggled. Snickers LOVES to play with other dogs. He is a little guy, but he sure loves his food and treats. He still prefers to hang out under his blankets during the day, but he comes out for play time and NEVER misses a meal.

Snickers is currently being fostered. Applications currently being accepted. For more information call 530-713-9079 or email us at info@resqpaws.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers, a Yuba City Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
