Dartanian is our big boy, standing 16.3 hands. He is a stunning grey that came to us from a downstate animal control. He had been found wandering along the side of the road, a walking skeleton. Dartanian gained a desired weight and has continued to make great progress. He has an old slab fracture in one front leg, and a partially demineralized coffin bone in the other.
Dartanian must wear front shoes and have access to a dry lot to keep him sound. . He is a sweet boy that is very well trained, but due to his injuries his riding days are in the past. He would make a wonderful companion horse.
