Clark Kent's Story...
I am Clark Kent. I’ve been at the shelter since October 2013. I love people and most dogs. I’m indifferent with cats. Since kennel life is so competitive with food and getting attention, I get overly anxious when food is around and I don’t like metal bowls. However, if you put food in a paper dish I don’t get anxious. Once I’m comfortable with you, I don’t have any food anxiety, just ask my favorite volunteer. I know basic commands like sit and stay and I’ll give you a paw if you promise to give me a treat. I love to play with toys and love getting belly rubs. Before you take me for a long walk, I need my belly rubbed. While you’re at it, make a wish. LOL

I’d love an opportunity to show you I’m a good boy. All I need is a chance. PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clark Kent, a South Orange Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog for sale in South Orange, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in South Orange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Orange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Orange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Orange paves the way for another one to be saved.
