Bethel's Story...
Hi I’m Bethel and action and fun is what I’m all about! I’m a 2 year old brindle boxer mix. In my exuberance to live life to the fullest, I do pull strongly on leash. However, I stop and sit when the humans tell me even when I’m super excited on leash. I am also much easier to walk with a harness. The volunteers think with a little training and a regular exercise routine I’ll walk much better. I’m the kind of dog who will keep you in great shape. We can jog, hike, and play fetch together. I even love the doggie pool and think swimming might be fun too. Why spend thousands of dollars on a personal trainer when you can have me instead? I’m a bit picky on who my doggie friends will be. At the current time, I do like some male dogs. If you have another dog, please bring them down to see if we click. However, cats excite me a little too much so I’d do best in a home without kitties. I passed my food test with flying colors. The humans moved my food and touched me while I ate and it did not bother me one bit! If you are looking for a dog to liven up your life and get you active, then I’m the girl for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bethel, a South Orange Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in South Orange, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in South Orange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Orange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Orange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Orange paves the way for another one to be saved.
