Kyesha's Story...
Name: Kyesha
Color: Brown and Black Tabby
Breed: Domestic Longhair Cat
Gender: Female
Age: 6 Years
Kyesha is a sweet girl looking for a responsible forever home. She is a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly.
Big fan of: A warm lap to lay on and be pet. Also, Kyesha needs frequent brushing to prevent her beautiful fur from matting so she would enjoy regular grooming sessions.
Not a fan of: Weight loss, but it is necessary for this girl. This can be achieved with play time and feeding her a measured, low-calorie diet.
Special Features: If you are over 55 years of age, ask about our Young At Heart Adoption Special which applies to animals over 5 years old like Kyesha.
Dream Home: Kyesha would prefer a home without any cats or dogs. She may be able to adjust to a home with older children who will be patient with her as she adjusts to living in her new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kyesha, a Bellingham Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
