Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Abita! This guy has a big personality that will immediately draw you to him and a loving nature that makes you want to stick around. Abita was surrendered by his owner with his four other siblings because their dog had accidentally gotten pregnant and they could not care for the puppies. They came in with a fungal infection that was treated at the shelter and Abita is as happy and healthy as ever now that he is in a foster home! This guy loves playing with the big dog of the house and is good at keeping himself entertained with toys and goofy antics. Abita is currently learning his house manners and is ready to learn much, much more!
At just over 3 months, we believe that Abita will be a medium sized dog since the owner indicated they were beagle mixes. This guy is all puppy, so a active, patient family that would continue his big boy training would be ideal. Because Abita loves to play, another canine sibling would be great! But all this guy really needs is a loving family to call his own.
Are you that family?
Puppies all come with microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, vet exam, and EBR Parish rabies voucher. Adoption fees vary between $150-200 based on adoption criteria.
Abita is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
